Mustangs And Broncos Steal The Show At Woodward 2026

Beyond the main cruise, two of Ford's most beloved nameplates turned Ferndale into a pilgrimage site during the 2026 Dream Cruise.
The Woodward Dream Cruise is a parade of everything on wheels, but at the 2026 edition on August 15, two Ford nameplates commanded their own devoted followings — and turned Ferndale into the enthusiast heart of the weekend.
Mustang Alley roars
Mustang Alley, the long-running Ferndale showcase dedicated to Ford's pony car, drew more than 600 registered Mustangs. The gathering spanned the model's entire lineage, from first-generation 1960s classics to modern high-performance variants, parked fender to fender for fans making the annual pilgrimage.
The Broncos arrive in force
Not far away, the Bronco faithful made their own statement. A gathering of more than 130 Ford Broncos lined West Nine Mile Road, a rolling testament to the off-roader's revival and the passionate community that has grown around it since its return.
Community over horsepower
What the Mustang and Bronco gatherings capture is the Dream Cruise's real engine: belonging. These are owners who organize all year, travel from across the region, and treat a shared nameplate as a kind of extended family. Amid the million-strong crowd and the endless stream of chrome, the marque clubs are a reminder that Woodward is less a car show than a reunion — one that happens to involve a lot of very loud engines.
